Local heritage book of Forbach

FORBACH ist a town in Baden-Wurttemberg, Rastatt County. The town is located in the central valley of the river MURG in the Northern BLACK FOREST.

The parish of St. John the Baptist in FORBACH included the villages of GAUSBACH and BERMERSBACH. Individuals of these tree villages are listed in the published records of baptism, marriages and deaths of FORBACH.

GERNSBACH is located to the North of FORBACH, BADEN-BADEN to the Northwest and FREUDENSTADT to the SOUTH. In the WEST in the RHINE VALLEY lies BUHL/BADEN.

LANGENBRAND and GAUSBACH are downstream the river Murg, RAUMUNZACH is located upstream.
