The Devil´s Moor stretches from southeast of Bremen until Bremervörde. It is surrounded by the parish of Trupe Lilienthal, St. Jürgen, Ritterhude, Osterholz, Scharmbeck, Hambergen, Kuhstedt, Bremervörde, Gnarrenburg, Wilstedt, Grasberg and Worpswede.

This data bank includes genealogy of the author of greater Stuhr and from the Eichsfeld as well as of his wife from the Devil´s Moor. Here there are primarily the names of Pingel, Tietjen, Wellbrock and von Öhsen (Oehsen).

The data bank arose from author´s own research as well as from the results of research of Mr. Gerrit Aust, Hamburg, who in long years work included many villages ín a map. For this I would especially like to thank him. Furthermore I would like to thank Klaus Peter Schulz, Osterholz-Scharmbeck for his chronic of Hülseberg.

The data bank includes at the time being approximately persons in over 13,100 families and is continuously updated.

It is supposed to be a help for genealogist and family researchers, however cannot replace the research in archives. A guarantee for the correctness cannot be given.
