Local heritage book of Worms

Foreword
I will gladly incorporate your data into the OFB Worms, as long as you can prove the data with sources.

As long as there are no separate OFBs for the formerly independent and later incorporated towns: Neuhausen, Hochheim, Herrnsheim, Horchheim, Weinsheim, Heppenheim an der Wiese, Ibersheim, Pfeddersheim, Wiesoppenheim, I will keep the entries I have here. However, I will be happy to pass them on to the OFBs just mentioned as soon as they have been created.
There are already separate OFBs for Abenheim, Pfiffligheim, Leiselheim and Rheindürkheim.

The OFB currently includes my relatives, as well as persons by marriage and in-laws. It is therefore not yet a classic OFB. The data is mainly from civil status and registry office documents.

Please note that the spelling of a person's name may differ from source document to source document. So please also check for name variations.

Geography
Worms is located in the eastern part of Rhineland-Palatinate in the Upper Rhine Plain. It is located in the south-eastern part of the Rheinhessen region between Mainz (approx. 40 kilometers to the north) and Ludwigshafen (approx. 20 kilometers to the south) on the left, western bank of the Rhine. The Pfrimm flows into the Rhine in the northern part of the city. The Eisbach (also known here as the Altbach), which also flows into this river, flows through the southern parts of the city. The lower reaches of the Eckbach, which also flows into the Rhine, run in the extreme south-east of the town.
